Kidzz Practice is home to an experienced team of paediatricians and allied health professionals. Each clinician works closely with families to support children’s development, health, and well-being.
Dr Meenakshi Rattan
Meena strongly believes in the philosophy of “patient first”. She is passionate about her work and believes in compassion, empathy, care and strong sense of advocacy for her patients and families.
Dr Meena Rattan is a general paediatrician with special interest in behavioural and neurodevelopmental paediatrics. (ASD/ADHD/Paediatric mental health) She has more than 20 years experience in Paediatrics.
Dr Sunita Gurnasinghani
Dr Sunita’s goal is to provide holistic, systemic and a multidisciplinary approach quality of life to children with various needs and to provide support to their families.
Dr Sunita has extensive general paediatrics experience and subspecialty experience in NICU, developmental and community paediatrics and clinical genetics. Dr Sunita has vast experience with Neuro-diverse presentations such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Dr Andrew Dunn
Dr Andrew is a general and developmental paediatrician who enjoys working with children of all ages to maximise their future potential. He has considerable experience managing newborn care, asthma, eczema, constipation, seizures, sleep difficulties, growth and development, behavioural concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He is committed to holistic care using a family-centred approach.
Andrew grew up in Sydney but began his medical training in Western Australia. His paediatric specialty training was undertaken through the Children’s Hospital at Westmead alongside many other hospitals in Sydney. He currently holds public positions at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead as well as at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals.. When not at work, Andrew enjoys the world of Bluey and bike riding with his wife and three children.

Dr Kumuthiny Kalaialagan
Dr Kumuthiny (Kumi) Kalaialagan is a General Paediatrician with more than 18 years of working experience in General Paediatrics and Neonatology. Dr Kumi graduated with MBBS in 2004 with a gold medal in Paediatrics. She then completed her Doctor in Paediatrics ( MD), in 2010 at Colombo University, Sri Lanka. Dr Kumi has had extensive training experience in acute and complex and chronic paediatric and neonatal medical problems during this period. Dr Kumi worked as a Consultant Paediatrician and Lecturer in Paediatrics in Sri Lanka prior to migrating to Australia.
Dr Kumi now has eight years of work experience in Australia and has completed her Paediatric training in Australia and holds a Fellowship in Paediatrics (FRACP), Diploma in Child Health (Sydney), and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine (Australasia). She worked in regional and metropolitan hospitals in newborn and paediatric units in NSW during her Fellowship training in Australia.
Dr. David Youssef
Dr. Youssef is appointed at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, Randwick and Westmead Campuses. He undertook a three-year posting at the Sydney Children’s Network, where he focused on Paediatric Cardiology training. In 2020, he undertook two fellowships at The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Edmonton, Canada, in the fields of Paediatric Echocardiography and 3-Dimensional imaging and Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension.
On completion of his Paediatric Cardiology training, Dr Youssef has returned to Australia, where he currently runs a Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Pilot program integrating multidisciplinary care and treatment of complex Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension patients. In addition, he has recently been involved in the development of a multidisciplinary Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) clinic of graduates from the neonatal intensive care unit.
Dr Madhuri Jain
Dr Madhuri Jain is a General and Developmental Paediatrician with over 20 years of experience delivering family-centred care across tertiary and community settings in Australia, India and Qatar.
She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training in India, followed by advanced training at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and John Hunter Children’s Hospital, Newcastle. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2023 and Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA) in 2025.
Dr Jain currently serves as Staff Specialist Paediatrician with Central Coast Local Health District, and as Visiting Medical Officer at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is a Conjoint Lecturer at Newcastle University. Her subspecialty interests include neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autism, developmental delay), adolescent health, acute paediatrics, and complex chronic care, with strong involvement in clinical leadership, quality improvement and multidisciplinary care.

Dr Nidhi Panicker
Nidhi has always wanted to pursue a career in Paediatrics and preventative health from an early age. She trained at the University of Newcastle and has since trained across the country in various hospitals including John Hunter Children’s Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne) and Children’s Hospital Westmead. Nidhi is multilingual and has experience working with families of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
She has a keen interest in Paediatric Haematology (having completed 3 years training in this speciality), and preventative medicine, especially promoting healthy and happy lifestyles for kids. Nidhi enjoys seeing children of all ages, and has also had additional training in managing neonates. Nidhi is also very passionate about education and has been teaching medical students and paediatric trainees for more than 10 years.
Dr Sadaf Cheema
Sadaf is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). She is dual-qualified in General Paediatrics and Community Child Health (Development and Behaviour Paediatrics). Sadaf received her training in paediatrics in Tasmania, Melbourne, and at the Children’s Hospital Westmead.
Sadaf finds the development process fascinating, which keeps her engaged and motivated in her work. She believes in neurodiversity and collaborates with parents to advocate for improving the lives of children with additional needs and ensuring equal rights for people with disabilities. She firmly believes in delivering holistic care within the context of the family unit.
Her primary interests and experience in developmental paediatrics include autism, developmental delay, ADHD, anxiety, continence issues, sleep problems, and various learning and behavioural difficulties.
Dr Arvind Sharma
Dr Sharma has extensive experience over 40 years working across public and private sectors in general paediatrics, neonatology, and behavioural and developmental paediatrics. He is skilled in seeing all children from birth through to adolescence and is dedicated to providing your child with the comprehensive paediatric care they deserve.
Dr. Sharma has been working as a private General Paediatrician since 2013, and until 2020 he was working for WA Health and WA Country Health Service across a variety of roles including senior consultant in Paediatrics, Staff Specialist in Paediatrics, Head of Department of Paediatrics, and Associate Consultant in General Paediatrics and also as short-term fellow in Immunology and allergy at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children WA, Australia.
His areas of special interest are: ADHD, ADD, ODD, ASD, Non-specific Behavioral disorders, Specific Learning Disorder (SLD), Sleep problems, Growth faltering, Nutritional and Feeding difficulties in Early Childhood, GORD, Unsettled babies, Constipation, Asthma, and Food Allergies.

Dr Arma Joshi
Dr Arma Joshi is a General Paediatrician whose experience across Australia’s leading children’s hospitals underpins her dedication to excellence in child health and family-centred care.
A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and recipient of the Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney, Dr Joshi provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. She has trained and worked at major tertiary and regional centres including the Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH), Sydney Children’s Hospital (SCH), and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW). Her broad clinical exposure across metropolitan and rural settings allows her to provide evidence-based care tailored to the diverse needs of families.

Shagufta Alam
Shagufta is a compassionate and experienced child psychologist dedicated to supporting the emotional, cognitive and behavioural development of children and adolescents. With many years of clinical experience, She specialises in diagnosing and treating wide range of childhood concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, school refusal and ADHD and autism.
Shagufta uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Play therapy, Art therapy to create tailored treatment plans that meet the unique requirements of each child and family. She collaborate closely with children, families, educators and paediatricians to ensure a holistic approach.
She also has extensive experience in the NDIS space, and can help parents apply and navigate their NDIS funding.

She is trained to administer Griffiths III Developmental Scales to assess the development of children under 6 years of age. She is qualified to administer the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2), both of which are formal diagnostic tools for Autism, and conducts assessments for children of all ages.
Sadaf speaks English, Urdu, and Punjabi. Outside of work, Sadaf enjoys spending time with her family, going bushwalking, and listening to music.

Dr Sharma keeps his knowledge up-to-date and evidence based to provide best possible care to his patients. He is member of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Australia, Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP) (formerly NBPSA), Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA), Australia, and ADHD WA, Australia.
Dr Sharma has committed decades to the care of children as a Paediatrician in Australia and Overseas, and we are delighted that he will be bringing years of expertise to his new practice at Kidzz Practice, SAN Clinic, level 6, Suite 606, Sydney Adventist Hospital, 185 Fox Valley Road, Wahroonga NSW 2076. He is a proud husband, father, and a grandfather, and he will be making the move to Sydney, NSW from February 2025 to be closer to his family.

In acute and inpatient settings, Dr Joshi has experience managing complex and critically unwell children, including those with cardiac and haematological conditions. She has a particular interest in the management of newborns and infants presenting with feeding difficulties, sleep and settling issues, and other common early-life concerns.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr Joshi is actively involved in medical education and paediatric research, contributing to the training of junior doctors and advancing clinical knowledge in child health. She is recognised for her calm, methodical approach, clear communication, and genuine commitment to improving health outcomes for children and their families.
Outside medicine, Dr Joshi enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
