Every child develops differently, and it is natural for parents to have questions. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions before and during a visit.
Do I need a referral to see a Paediatrician?
Yes, a valid referral from your GP is required to claim a Medicare rebate. Specialist-to-specialist referrals are usually valid for 3 months, while GP referrals typically last 12 months.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book by calling our Sydney or Gosford offices directly or by using our online registration form. Please have your referral and Medicare details ready.
What should I bring to my child's first consultation?
Please bring your referral letter, your child’s Blue Book (Health Record), and any previous relevant test results, school reports, or specialist letters.
Where are your clinics located?
We have two convenient locations: one at the Sydney Adventist Hospital (Wahroonga) and another in North Gosford to serve families across the Central Coast.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another child on our waiting list. Fees may apply for late cancellations.
